Lollapalooza Paris, 22 and 23 July

In 2017, the internationally-renowned American festival franchise is making its first ever stop-off in the French capital! This nomadic festival, which in recent years has found a permanent base in Chicago, will offer both powerful live performances and a special area reserved for seven of today’s hottest French chefs. The line-up features Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Weeknd, Lana Del Rey, Pixies, London Grammar, The Roots, Liam Gallagher, Imagine Dragons, and many more.

Parc de Saint-Cloud

Rock en Seine, from 25 to 27 August

Since it was first staged in 2003, Rock en Seine has established itself both as the summer’s last big musical happening in France, and as a fixture on the European festival calendar. As every year, four stages will be set up in the heart of the French-style garden in Saint-Cloud.

La Villette

Days Off Festival, from 30 June to 10 July

The Days Off Festival invariably attracts a line-up of eclectic musical talent, and this year is no exception! Head to the Philharmonie de Paris this July to enjoy a series of performances by the likes of Air, Metronomy, Jarvis Cocker & Chilly Gonzales (performing their collaboration ‘Room 29’), Savages, Devendra Banhart, Michael Kiwanuka and Kate Tempest.

Afropunk Festival, 15 and 16 July
Following two sell-out editions at Le Trianon, the Afropunk Festival returns to Paris for two days of great vibes, delicious food and fantastic gigs taking place in the Charlie Parker area of the Grande Halle de la Villette. This year’s line-up includes performances by the likes of Laura Mvula, FFF and Tyler the Creator.

Jazz at La Villette, from 31 August to 13 September

The line-up this year features performances by Archie, Shepp, Gregory Porter, De La Soul, Cory Henry and Jeff Mills & Emile Parisien. There will also be a series of events designed for a younger audience, including the animated film-concert ‘Qui a miaulé?’ on 3 September and a live performance of ‘Oh Oh le petit matelot’, scheduled to celebrate the start of the new school year.

Parc Floral de Paris

Green Classical Music Festival, from 5 August to 17 September

The Parc Floral de Paris is the place to be this summer to enjoy great weather and fantastic live music, provided by both established artists and up-and-coming talents. In addition to 14 open-air concerts, this wide-ranging festival will feature activities, exhibitions, public gatherings and more.

Jazz Festival, from 5 to 9 July
The Jazz Festival will return for its 18th edition in 2017, with a line-up featuring Morcheeba, Macy Gray, Al Mckay's Earth, Wind & Fire Experience, Faada Freddy and Keziah Jones.

Château de Fontainebleau

Django Reinhardt Festival 2017, from 6 to 9 July
A roaming festival! The 2017 edition of the Django Reinhardt Festival wil kick off in the village square in Samois-sur-Seine on Saturday 1 July, before moving to the Prairie du Bois d’Hyver in the grounds of the former royal residence in Fontainebleau. Every year, this immersion in music inspired by Django Reinhardt attracts a loyal crowd of families and music-lovers.
