Since it was first staged in 2003, Rock en Seine has established itself both as the summer’s last big musical happening in France, and as a fixture on the European festival calendar. As every year, four stages will be set up in the heart of the French-style garden in Saint-Cloud.

Afropunk Festival, 15 and 16 July
Following two sell-out editions at Le Trianon, the Afropunk Festival returns to Paris for two days of great vibes, delicious food and fantastic gigs taking place in the Charlie Parker area of the Grande Halle de la Villette. This year’s line-up includes performances by the likes of Laura Mvula, FFF and Tyler the Creator.
Jazz at La Villette, from 31 August to 13 September
The line-up this year features performances by Archie, Shepp, Gregory Porter, De La Soul, Cory Henry and Jeff Mills & Emile Parisien. There will also be a series of events designed for a younger audience, including the animated film-concert ‘Qui a miaulé?’ on 3 September and a live performance of ‘Oh Oh le petit matelot’, scheduled to celebrate the start of the new school year.
Parc Floral de Paris
Green Classical Music Festival, from 5 August to 17 September
